Our trip in Portugal

Hi everyone, I wanted to provide a little update on our trip. We are having a fantastic time! We hope everyone is haveing a fabulous summer and we miss you loads!

This (on the right) is me as queen at Portugal do Pequeninos (Portugal for the little people). They have mini-replicas of houses, churches, castles, schools, etc from all the different parts of Portugal. It is very cool. They also have little representations of every place where Portugal settled (like Brazil, Angola, etc). The picture of Nuno is him in front of the one for the Azores because that is where he was born.

This is a piture of Coimbra, the city where Nuno's parents live. It is very pretty.

This is Queluz, which is similar to Versailles, but Portuguese style (in other words, much cooler and less snooty). When we were there, we followed a school group and they were doing demonstrations for the kids of how people would do things there. The second picture is a little boy in the group who was learning how to study and bow and stuff. It was soooo cute.

In Lisbon, we went to the national aquarium, where there were some scarey penguins, but luckily (probably because Jessi wasn't there) there didn't seem to be the attacking ninja penguins of Sea World. This place was ridiculously cool. The last picture is Nuno with Vasco, the mascot\tourguide of the place.

Hi everyone! Sorry I'm kind of a dork and couldn't get the pictures straight. I had to get Nuno to figure out just how to post pictures at all :P Anyhow, I will post more pictures soon while jaunting in Europe...Buffy...he-heeee!

Wonderful uses of blogs

Hi family!! I am copying the Heiners...We have a blog for their family and I love it. Anyone in the fam can post pictures and comment on each other's posts and everything. It's just fun for everyone! I hope you all like it. If not, then that's ok. I just thought it would be fun for us to have so we can keep everyone up to date easily. You know how I like to tell everyone all about what we're up to! :)

Also, I wanted to send everyone pictures, but this way you can all see them and I don't have to send it via email. lol like it's hard, but this is fun.

So these are 2 of Ryk's favorite things...In-N-Out and his motorcycle. In-N-Out is about 2 blocks from our house so we are probably going to be fat the next time you see us!

This is our house! Well, not ours, but the one we're renting. I love it so much! We were so blessed to find it for the price we did. Thanks to the Relief Society Pres in the neighboring ward.

Toni & Nuno haven't seen my chopped hair so here's a picture of it! You can't see the back but it's very me.

It's "Mustache May" and Ryk is definitely sportin' the handle bars. haha!

It was a beautiful day today so we went on a walk to the park on our block. It was pretty! We liked the grass because there isn't very much in Arizona.
