PORTUGUESE WORD OF THE DAY!!

Ok so yay for us learning how to say fun things in Portuguese :) Nuno and Toni, do let me know if any of the words are incorrect, or weird or something we don't really need to know.

I thought I would start off with a BANG and go with Hello :) I found this awesome website that even has sound clips that I can post on here! So here we go:

English: Hello/Hi
Portuguese:
Olá/Oi

Nuno and Toni is this right? Just want to make sure. Make sure you tell me if any of these words are incorrect or Brazilian Portuguese.

Ok thanks!
Love you all,

Jesster

Yes, it is correct, and so is the accent. Only Portuguese seldom use "Oi" as the Brazilians do. "Bom dia" (good morning) - is perhaps the most common greeting, followed by "Como esta" (How are you).

Also for us English speakers, "Bom dia" is pronounced more like like "bone dee-uh"
