Our first few days in the Algarve

Hi everyone, we're back and ready to report on our trip to the Algarve. This is tne town where we stayed. The first pic is just what the typical streets looked like. The second is from the town's castle. I's very cool, because they have made the casle area into sort of a pulic garden and it is very pretty (of course I forgot to get a picture of it, though).

The town of Tavira is on both sides of a river and the first pic is Toni on the bridge. The Algarve is famous for storks, they were everywhere with nests on every really high place, so I in put a pic of them :)

These are pictures of a few things we saw near to Tavira. The first is a really cool river that ends in a waterfall. Nuno is swimming (Toni was too wimpy, it was too cold, plus the whole curly hair factor). The second is from a restaurant where we ate lunch with Nuno's mom and dad. The water you can see in the foreground is pretty shallow and on the other side is a giant sand bar, so when the tide is out, you can wade across and hang on the beach that you can see in the distance.

The water fall was really cool and I liked the stork. It looks like they could cause problems making nests on all the high places. It looked like the one in the photo had plugged up the chimney. Every thing there looks so fun.
